Yes, delete title update then go back onto GTA Online and reinstall the update.

But to make sure, clear your system cache beforehand.

Tried this just now. It didn't work for me. Cleared cache, deleted update, re updated, still nothing.

Deleting thhe Cache would have nothing to do with getting a character back, All your doing is reinstalling the update. It has nothing to do with the characters as there Obviously connected to a Cloud server and thats where they are saved.

I'm having no luck, I was level 43, And now Im back to rank 1. Had to make a new character. BS Man.

Good luck holding onto that new character. I'm just not gonna leave it alone till there's a conclusion to this problem.

Deleting the cache is removing all the errors on your xbox and games.. So yes it does have something to do with it.
