I Don't See How, technically you are using a valid payment method. As it is registered to a valid phone number you or a friend owns, and you aren't stealing anything. I've done this 20+ times for myself and 20+ times for friends , and about 5 for strangers on TTG, I have had not even a warning yet, my guess is no ban, I've been doing this for the past few months and kept the post updated , if all is done correctly as above, you can't be banned :-]

I am also getting that. I've been doing this for a few months and this is the first time I got this. I know that if you are a gold member it says that but my account is silver. Maybe we have to give it some time to fully go through because my xbl did just run out today!

I just think it is weird because last month when my gold ran out I did the promotion immediately an it worked.

I think this is only working with new accounts not accounts with gold previously.
