Hello, its been a while since ive been on here since i forgot my password.
Anyways heres my situation, im trying to play blackops 1 in 3D, ive been trying for 3 weeks straight now and cant seem to figure it out i usually dont ask for help i like to figure things out on my own but i just cant seem to get this working. Im using realD 3D glasses, i have a slim xbox and a 72inch samsung tv not sure the exact type. Now when i try turning 3D on on my tv it will only let me do it if i plug the hdmi cord in the 3rd hdmi input which is the only one that says "hdmi/dvi" the other 2 just say hdmi even though the input looks exactly the same. Also under settings on the xbox it has to be on either 720p or 1080i for my tv to let me choose the 3D option. Now when i do that i go on black ops and turn on stereoscopic 3D and all it does is show 2 screens side by side, and the 3D on my tv is on.. So i try mode 2 under 3D and it does the same thing.. I dont see any options on my tv for different 3D settings like side by side or over and under or whatever it is all there is is mode 1 & 2.. Do i need to do a software upgrade on my tv or what? I have NEVER used 3D before and only seen 1 movie in 3D in theaters a looong time ago so im really clueless here... Theres also a plug in spot on the back of the tv that says "3D sync out" Do i have to buy that cord? I dont think i would since i can enable the 3D option. And ive read that that cord is only for glasses that have to be charged and synced, the glasses i have are just like regular ones you get at movie theaters. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated as ive been trying nonstop for about a month now and on and off since black ops even came out lol. Thanks!
