i am going to buy a dazzle hd cap card but might only question is does it need to connect directly to a computer to livestream or record? +rep for good answer

yes, all capture cards do accept for cameras i think.

a dazzle is usb powered so you plug it into your computers port after you install the disk it comes with then you hook up the rca cables to the front of the dazzle and your tv
youll need splitters tho plugged into your tv so u can hook up both xbox cables and the ones attached to your dazzle

You cannot play in HD and record with a dazzle, you need a HD PVR for that.
YOu have to connect your dazzle to your xbox and computer to livestream..

just hook it up to your pc then go to a livestream website then it should ocme up
