I also gave my hard drive to another friend to install windows, but he said it wouldn't let him format it...I'm new to all this, so i have no idea what any it means. I just want to know if my hard drive os broken

My friend is on windows Xp 32 bit. He plays battlefield 3 and many other games. Just get a 32 but version of windows 8 for the moment. Or.. Boot off a disc/usb

Ya, but some of the games i want to get are 64 bit only, and i am using a dvd
