To me both consoles are neck and neck based on what i want from a console. The difference is the price is $100 more for xbox one, but it's complete entertainment as well as gaming. I do love the fact that PS4 will have Gaikai and i like that there is a removable hard drive. I was wondering if mandatory game installs for microsoft would end up taking too much space on the hard drive? And another question I have is about the speed of the ps4 which i heard is really fast, but may have some problems with latency (I'm not very informed about that, and may need someone to clear that up for me) and that the xbox one may be faster with its multitasking. I really want to have the best picture and speed possible, but all in all, i'm just looking for one little thing for either side since i cannot afford them both! I just don't want any bias please.

The PS4 hardware wise, beats the xbox one in every category; its a very small difference but a win is a win. On top of that the PS4 is $100 cheaper. PSN is also a few dollars cheaper than the XBL. Everything I said was a fact and can be looked up anywhere. So in my opinion if you get the PS4 you get a better console(statistically) and for a cheaper price! thats a win/win in my opinion.

Posting on the PS4 side will likely get you more biased results imo..
To answer your questions, as far as I know the game installs on the One will be stored in the cloud. You have unlimited space in the cloud by the way. A 500gb hard drive won't go far if you have to install every game on it.
As far as speed, based on the specs the PS4 has a slight edge but honestly you have to wait for the consoles to come out to compare. Just because one is faster doesn't mean it will be more fluid. Like you mentioned about latency, that could cause problems but there's no way to know until it comes out.
You really have to do some research on the consoles and look at what they have to offer, asking for opinions on either the xbox or ps4 thread will get you some info but like the post above me, it can be biased.
