so my brother has a ps3 and this mornings update was for the missing character. He downloaded the update and he still hasn't got his character back, is anyone else still having this problem?

Yes i am, only that im on Xbox, also a message appears saying, Alert Timed out locating session - when i load up a invite only session.

This is ridiculous, rockstar seriously needs to get this straightened out.

if your character has been lost before the update there was only a small chance of you getting it back, also id just make a new character, its a great game to play and start over again anyway, hope this helped

He does not need to make a new character, rockstar specifically said on twitter that they are getting everybody's character back eventually. Which is just plain ridiculous. This shouldn't have happened in the first place tbh
