Honestly, the best way to get gold is by questing. Do daily quests and normal ones and you'll find yourself racking up gold. Also doing random battlegrounds gives you a bunch, because of the items you get and sell in the AH

Professions. Find someone to make a kind of business with you... me and 2 friends all had 600 professions and made upwards of 5k a day...


600 LW / Miner / Herbalism

600 JC / Alchemy

600 Enchanter / Skinner


The miner would send all the ore to the JC who would craft the level 85 blue rings, vendor all the greens and send blues to the enchanter to D/E and sell on the AH or make the scrolls and sell those. Then the 600 skinner would send all the leather to the LW and make leg armors and sell those for about 700 a pop, and since i had 3 90's I had more than 2 600 professions so I could get the herbs to send to the alchemist and make flasks to sell. We had a pretty solid strategy goin on and it you can recreate it you'd be pretty set

Just with JC/Mining/Herb I make around 10k a day.

Insignias give more as you level and other variables and i think sometimes you get given a random sack of crap like low level dungeons do.

for dungeons its worth it abit more as at level 90 they all give like 35~65g ish for completeing them alongside probably about 20~200g from looting and then all the loot you get inside that can either be sold or kept dependant on your needs.

Get two gathering professions. Gather mats and sell them at the auction house. They go quick for big amounts of gold.
