Ok, so I just calculated it from the whole start. I did the same settings and 3 laps. I got 100 RP for passing the FIRST lap and 890 RP from completing the race.

I did the following with one lap. I got the exact same results. 890 RP for finishing and 100 RP for passing the lap. I don't see where i'm going wrong, am I the only one who is having trouble with this?

Take a look at the OP. Are you seeing the 890RP @ the rewards screen?

It does come up with 890 RP at the screen and I watched the bar fill up and had note of the number before the xp was added and 890 RP was added to the amount.

You shouldn't use run-ons. They make it really difficult to comprehend. So, you're saying you wrote down the RP you had, then did a lap, jot down how much RP you gained, then finished the race, saw the amount of RP at the rewards screen and determined that the RP from the rewards screen was the total amount you had achieved at the end of the entire cycle?

No, what I did was write down my XP which was at 291360 at the time did a race which took me to 292350 (100 RP from the first checkpoint and 890 for finishing the race) Took it away from my XP before that and got my answer 990 RP per race for me.
