Hello, I have been wanting to build myself a computer for a while now, and i dont know if i should just by one? If you have a suggestion let me know! Anyway lets get into my idea for a build.

*What is your budget and currency? 1000$-1500$ (1500$ if needed)
*Do you need a monitor? No.
*Do you need a keyboard? Yes. (A gaming one wired would be fine)
*Do you need a mouse? Yes. (A gaming one, wireless)
*Do you need an operating system? No.
*What will you use the PC for? gaming, school, and also alot of mutitasking.

EDIT: i need a really good gaming system. I like FPS games, And running at top graphics!

This build will do all you want it to and more. This will be absolutely perfect for you. The i7 will provide more than enough processing power for all that multitasking and the RAM will aid you in multitasking as well.

For gaming this build will be an absolute beast. You won't have any problems running every game on ultra.

I added a 120GB SSD as a boot drive and a drive for some frequently used applications/games. Using an SSD as a boot drive will give you insanely fast boot times.

If you don't want to overclock drop the aftermarket cooler, get a 4770 (non K series) and a B85/H87 motherboard. You will save a bit of money by doing this but you'll lose the choice of overclocking; one that's always good to have.

He didn't mention editing, so I'd say an i5-4670k will be good enough.

The 7990 will run any game at max for a long time.

The keyboard and mouse are both good, Cherry MX Reds are nice.

16GB of RAM for your multitasking, kept in the 120GB SSD for Windows and some applications/games.

The H80i is a good, mid-end liquid cooler.

If you don't plan on overclocking(I'd keep it in just in case) go for the i5-4670 and a cheaper H87 board, I'd recommend the ECS H87H3-M(1.0) as it's pretty reliable for the low price.

The 7990 has no business being in a cheap case like that and it goes over budget.

Another R9 280X can be added to this: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Personally I would chose either a 8350 or i7 4770k as games are now starting to utilising more cores such as bf4 and even though the i5 has better core per core performance it just get left behind in bf4 . And games are only going to follow the same route . Plus stick to a amd gpu as mantle is coming out soon and if it is as impressive if it's made out to be it will definitely improve your gameplay without spending anymore money

The i5 will NEVER get left behind by any CPU for games. The i7 is only useful for the HT and is pretty useless for gaming. Also, the i5 will always beat a 8350/8320, always. But the price tells you why.

Also mantle will be on the last gen GPU's too, as they all have the GCN Architecture.

Still not worth it. BF3 multiplayer could make use of greater than four threads as well, but by no means is an 8350 better than the i5 as a gaming CPU. Better for the money, maybe, but this build has a high budget.

However, if OP isn't overclocking, he can get a Xeon E3-1230 V3, which is more or less an i7 4770. That would mean he can get a cheaper board and use the stock cooler as well.
