Please add that you have to sign in and sign out so you start at the very first heist scene then press start go to invite only session and try again (Dont ask me why but the signing in and out has worked for me all my friends and others on ttg )

im pretty sure that in order for it to work, you can't have had your car resprayed like ever.

Works for me! I just park outside where the yellow lines are with my 50K + car then run out into the street to pick up another.. Drive into customs with it go to sell but press it once then go to the Ps store or xbox store, after all that it spawns me in my car so i can go back in and sell.
