The new method will work, I used the same method but I got it from a video made a few days ago and I just finished doing it about 20 minutes ago so it's still working. I did NOT unlink my account from Social Club so we will see what happens there. Also even if Rockstar do take any action the chances are they will not ban you, the most likely thing they will do in worst case scenarios is put people in Bad Sports with Dunce hats on forever/a long time. Rockstar like to keep banning to a minimal as they enjoy people playing their games. Keep at this guys, it may be patched soon so take all the money you can while you have the chance.
