You can, but it's a very slow drive and I would not suggest it. If you're changing motherboards, your activation key will not be valid and you need to prepare the current installation for new hardware by uninstalling the drivers for all devices using device manager with all hidden devices shown.
You're also paying too much for that build. If you're not going to be overclocking, you can get the Xeon E3-1230 V3 which is essentially an i7 4770 for a lower price without integrated graphics. Get the cheapest H87 or B85 board that does what you need. Something like [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] will do. No need for such a huge and expensive case, either. $50 for something like the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] will do everything you need. A good 550w PSU is more than enough for this build, but the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] is the best deal right now so you may as well go for it. The [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] is very nearly as fast as the 770 for $100 less.
