I have a small server on my macbook with 8GB ram to play pixelmon with my friends. The server keeps crashing and I was wondering if anybody knows how to help. Is there a way to give more ram to the server? It is on 1.6.2 Minecraft Forge and the server starts, but after a couple minutes crashes. Please help

Is your computer 8 gigs of ram or the server? O.o

What type of server is it? Bukkit, Vanilla etc.

Depending on what type of server it is, I can help you with giving it more memory.

it is a normal server with pixelmon on it i dont think is bukkit or vanilla server PLEASE HELP

If the server has 8GB of RAM then you don't need anymore.
If your computer has 8GB and your server only has 1GB, you probably need more but I don't know about the CPU usage for a Pixelmon server is.
