So with any exploit there's always a chance of being banned now many people over the past two or three days have been taking full advantage to make alot of money. This being the bike glitch (patched now) and the re-selling of your car well rockstar came out and said the following

"Were aware of the issue and until we can fix it, well ban anyone with a history of abusing this design flaw. It will ruin others enjoyment by dis-balancing the economy thats vital to the Online experience. Were in discussion with Microsoft, too, to escalate these bans from online privileges to user accounts as a statement against these antics. We dont expect any outrage from the law-abiding player base who havent devalued others items and hard-work with an exploit these the customers we are proud to help"

TIPS ON BAN PREVENTIONS

1. Spend your money so it looks at-least realistic.
If you have 20mil knock it back to 10mil (so half it by spending)

2. Don't flash your cash by this I mean make a video saying look I have 15mil from the bike glitch.

3. Do some missions, increase your rank so not all your earnings are glitched.

im rather amused in all honesty serves people right for going over board with money glitch and reposting this glitch about 100 x over youtube more fool you

You cannot do anything to prevent being banned EcKo they only have to check car sales of everyone on social club, They will see people who have millions in car sales and unfortunately you cannot change that because it is logged into a database.

Giroux wrote Nothing against these topics, but I think we should cut back on these "Ban Wave" threads. Don't get me wrong; they are actually very informative and helpful. But these topics constantly lead to massive arguments and accusations that get out of hand very quickly. If there is in fact a ban wave, we will all find out soon enough. These topics don't change that outcome, so let's just try to calm down.. I think we can all use a bit of a break from the arguments.

This thread was posted by a mod..*facepalm*

That doesn't change the fact that it is causing massive arguments. Regardless of who posts it, I can guarantee it will instigate "fights" over the bans. Like I said, these topics are helpful, but they spark way too many issues.

I suppose, but no one has been confirmed to be ban yet, only cheater pools and maybe some resets.

Exactly. If we're going to get banned, we'll all find out first-hand.

SDL wrote if you get banned its your own fault so i dont see why every one is moaning

You must not understand young one. This "glitch" supposedly messes up the "economy". But yet, if we are able to buy cash cards. Wouldn't that Dis balance the "economy" to? I mean someone can just buy 500$ worth of them. Isn't that dis balancing? I don't get why they would ban us? Reset us? Yes. But a ban that's outta the question and will spark rage!

If they need to talk to Microsoft about the bans, then they're not messing around. I suggest you guys stop. The XBLPET are very strict.

Thanks Ecko for the information.

Tbh i don't see them going that far, with this half ass game that's in a beta stage. People can't get online still after 3 weeks. Overall i think it's to give us a little scare. Because, let's be honest. The game got f'd within the first 3 weeks. They never expected it to be like this.

I don't see spending money doing anything for you. They should be able to add a game mechanic that scans peoples history and tell if you did the glitch or not. It's not hard to figure out that someone sold the same car over and over. If they're talking with MS about it, good luck to all that did it. Like Energy said the XBL Pet team is strict. They will ban/suspend you if you break the smallest rule. Also to the people that think R* won't take it that far, look what happened to people that took pictures of the game, or leaked a small bit of gameplay before release. Able to shut down people's twitches, youtube, ban people from xbl, etc.. No other game developer has really took it that far. Doing something that Rockstar doesn't like this time around is a big no-no.

That's definitely not copied and pasted from Rockstar considering all the grammar flaws.

If you really think about, most of the TTG community did the glitch. If they were all to ban us from xbox live. lol that would piss of so many people, i don't think R* would want that. The PS3 version already has modders on there.
