well my IPOD is so slow, its 4th gen, i want to fully wipe it, but can i get back one or two apps? like my 'Downloads' app, it has all my music? thanks guys

Usually when you delete an app it removes all of its data, so you would probably loose any downloaded music on the app, although you can backup your apps onto iTunes. Not sure if it would save the music through the app though.

use i-funbox and copy all the music from your downloads app to your computer.
Restore and then reinstall your downloads app.
put all music back into downloads app.
