Someone will try and make a misleading topic "OMG MESSI LOOK" or "LOOK AT MY 90 RATED TEAM"

They have a link in their post that looks just like the EA link where you can show off your team via the web app.

Upon clicking it, it will take you to the log in page, similar to origin and it will ask to enter your login credentials.

Most of us are already logged into the web app so it's a stupid scam attempt because the "remember me" option already loads up our log-in info.

Basically, it is a near exact copy of the EA website, that people send you, you log in thinking it's the real site, but because it's a fake site, they then get your account details from it and can take your hard earned coins/players.

You can also read this on how to tell the difference between fake and real sites.

Why would you want a link to a phishing site..... seems odd.

They are set up to look like the login pages of the web app in order to steal login information from unsuspecting users. They rarely work on anyone with half a brain though, but you'd be surprised at how many people fall for them.
