This doesn't work. The person who commented saying it will work is the same person who made the post just a different account. Something for publicity or to make people loss there accounts..

Did anyone actually fall for this and lose there character?? clerly is fake there is no video anywhere about it.

How am I ment to create a new character without deleting my current???

P-Money wrote 1) Create a new GTA Online character in slot 1 where your current character is. Then complete the online race and tutorial with the new character.

2) Immediately after you've completed the tutorial, you will see the small yellow Rockstar Cloud saving icon in the corner, while this is showing, either go to the dashboard or exit to story mode. Whichever you find quickest to do. This prevents progress from overwriting.

3) If you quit to story mode, pause it and start an online invite-only session. If you went to the dashboard, load the game back up and do the same.

4) As the screen is loading (where it zooms out of the city), sign out of your XBL account, wait until the screen goes black and sign back in

5) It will ask you which character you want to play with, your original character will be back in slot 1, instead of the new character. Choose your original character

6) It will put you in an lobby with 'good sport' people and you are no longer a bad sport

7) To make this stick, complete a race / mission with another good sport person in the lobby before leaving the game.

EDIT: I would be grateful if somebody could make a video tutorial on this glitch. I, personally, find video tutorials much easier to follow.

EDIT 2: I'm gonna make my character a bad sport and give this a try myself. Will report back soon on how it goes.

EDIT 3: Just to confirm, it works. Whoever found this is a genius. We can now have fun and play GTA online properly without being punished.
