A little confused, I'm preording Ghosts from Amazon for Xbox One and it says the release date is the 5th of November. So, will they actually deliver the game for the 5th of November or wait for the XB1 release.

Yes, it will be dispatched to arrive on the 5th November. There is a notification on the page on Amazon saying "Your Xbox One version of Call of Duty: Ghosts will be dispatched to arrive on Tuesday, November 5th. However you will not be able to play your game until you receive your console on Friday, November 22nd.".
