Hi all recently my sapphire 7950 failed and had to be sent back to the reseller who then sent it to sapphire anyway to cut a long story short the reseller has just sent me a his 7950 iceq boost card. I installed it and all the usual stuff when installing a new card and now this happens only when i play games i get strange lines appear and screen flicker. Any idea what it is?

his 7950 ice q boost
asus p8 z77 v pro
corsair 2 x 8 gb vengance
samsung 830 ssd
seagate baracuda 2tb
corsair hx850 psu

Sounds like screen tearing, turn on v-sync in the game options.
Preferably, could you post a screenshot if that doesn't work.

seems to be fixed 1 of 2 things 1 not enough power i only have 1 power socket in my room with 2 beast pcs and alot of other crap running so i unplugged loads of stuff and it appeared to disappear. the other could just be it needed restart after a driver update thanks for the help

Yeah you always need to restart your PC after installing any driver...
