What happens when ever someone young comes across those type of videos and they scare them for life?

That's one of the problems that people have raised with this.
You have to be 13+ to sign up to Facebook, considering most sites which allow gore content stress that the videos are for 18+ viewers only, this does seem like a silly move.
However, they are considering only allowing these videos if they have warnings on them.
While this sounds good on paper, everyone knows that if a 13 year old see's a sign saying "Don't do this." they're probably going to do it.

I think these videos should be kept to the sites that are made for them, that's just me though.

I figure facebook already scars enough people daily with their game invites, so I couldn't care less if they allowed it. Someone who clicks on a video titled "Beheading VIOLENT" and then complains to facebook and files lawsuits is just an idiot seeking attention. The problem with court cases is that there is no common sense involved. The person decided to view a video titled "GRAPHIC, CAUTION, BEHEADING, etc" and is surprised when it offends them...logic.



Anyways, I don't mind seeing all these videos on my wall as I'm not stupid enough to click on them, I'm more worried about one more god damned prayer request making me snap..... :coffee:

i hate these beheading videos. watched one and it actually made me sick. i'm glad i don't live in mexico where all these things seem to happen

Honestly its your choice if you watch them or not, but yes they should be removed.

It's the harsh side of life which should be hidden from people who dont want to see them. But I say watch them at your own will.

Would they should rethink about that i hardly use facebook now anyways but people from a young age will get scared for life.
