You don't get physical recorders for PC, you use a program.

I would recommend Fraps or Dxtry. They give the best results. Make sure your PC can handle it though.

I prefer camtasia, I find fraps to be a tad heavy. You don't need a physical card.

Camtasia can't keep up in most games as i think it can only manage 25FPS max (that may have changed).

Fraps is the best gaming recorder out there...

You can get one, but they're only worth it with low end pc's.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] is a rather decent one. There are some other choices, some that I can't think of the name, but they do the job. Buyer beware: They're not worth the money (imo).

I use fraps to record my gameplay , it's really good although the only downside is that the file size is huge

id say Dxtory because it dont lag as much as fraps but they both still record in 25-60 frames, but dxtory records in a higher file size but just render it in sony vegas or aftr effects and it will go down to about 700mb

Hey man here is a link most streamers use : [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

also everyone saying you don't need a card is slightly wrong, if you have a capture card it removes the stress off the CPU so if you don't have a high performance CPU then you don't have to worry aboput dropping frames.

I hope this actually helps.

Fraps will possibly be your best bet buddy.
