The reason you get messages like that is because you just throw it out that you're a girl, and look at your profile pic... You're just asking for attention. Saying "Girl gamer here, don't hate" is just asking for hate/ thirsty ass nerds

I am going to put it bluntly and hope that if you post another topic asking for some people to play with it will have nothing to do with your gender.
Understand this. This is 2013 and I don't know if you know it but there are almost as much girls that play videogames as guys. Girl gamers do not state that they are females at every given opportunity, people like you do who want the attention from guys who sound "thirsty" or "desperate" trying to chat you up over xbox live. Just because you are a female does not mean you should expect to be treated or played with any differently that a guy. I mean, if I played GTA with you and you killed me, I would probably call you a d*ck and blow you up. Bringing the fact you are a female onto a gaming website to grab some teenage boys attention is simply sad and you should just play with your mates or something or just go into random games because there are some decent people online and by stating your gender here, you will mostly just get creepy dudes who want to deliver some ridiculous chat-up lines.
