Hey everyone, I have been trying to roo tmy Ace GT-S5830i for a week now, I put the root files in the root of my 2GB SD-Card with my PC but when I open my phone in recorvery mode and press update from SD-Card it says
E: Cant mount /sdcard
E: Cant mount /sdcard no such a file or dictionary.
Hoe to fix this? By the way im on Gingerbread 2.3.6

First try a new SD card or plug your existing one back into the computer to check and see if its having any errors.
Check the gold contacts in the micro-sd slot itself.
You might try a different recovery if there is one for that device.
Why not put the files on the root of your internal sdcard or somewhere else that you could access in recovery?
