Anyways, this method is very risky, if you play with a sp char your online char can be deleted.

How do you go online with a campaign character? You mean hit start and go to gta online?

Pick a car (2/3 stars recommended) or a Jet (If you want 400rp every 5sec, cause you will have 4 stars if you steal it from the military) and then go to the phone and do the trick.

So you need to be a campaign character?

I am doing this but it actually starts the mission rather then going back to the phone

Hmmm... It's very strange because I boost an acc from 1 to 50 and this doesn't happened to me. Try to re-do the glitch. Leave to the dash and try again the trick.
