solder it to postive on the battery post of the controller and negative to the negative post . if you need more help contact me i will walk you thru it

Solder the red to positive and the black to ground...

Nice, without the transistor and resistor you would be draining a ton of power by directly soldering it to the positive and negative points, and could possibly fry the LED/board. The LEDs should now turn on with the controller if installed correctly.

i almost knew wot to do coz im used to doing this kind of stuff i ended up installing this on another controller to new shells on a few controllers led thumbsticks and guide button ect and installed a internal battery on one of my controllers and now its kinda like the xbox one controller
