Pretty ironic considering that in the Bible itself it states that the books were written by humans.
Sure they were 'Apostles' and were supposed to have carried the word of God through the Holy Spirit, but it was still written by man.
No respected theologians have ever suggested that the Bible was written by God himself.
It was written in a mix of Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic languages.
So no, God didn't write the Bible in English, whoever suggested that, so that we could understand it.
It's been translated time and time again into thousands of different versions and has eventually arrived in what you probably have in a cupboard somewhere called the King James Bible.
Not every answer is within the Holy Bible. Many things have been written about it and are actually not in it. It is called documentation.
Please stop right now..You give us Christians a bad name. The Bible was WRITTEN by man, but God told the man what to write. You're probably one of those people that believe Jesus was white as well don't you?

Demons in the Bible are the spirits of dead giants called Nephilim who existed before the flood of Noahs Ark.
While there are stories of Jesus casting demons out of people, what modern culture would show as possession and exorcism, due to a faulty translation somewhere along the line 'possession' isn't really a good way of describing what happens.
It suggests a more physical confrontation while the literal translation should be 'to be demonized' which could mean that you are simply being a bad boy and Jesus told you to be good, but it could still have the same physical denotations as the word 'possessed.'
One thing that seems to be extremely prevalent in the Bible in relation to the idea of spiritual warfare is that the demons were their own bosses.
They would only leave a body once Jesus commanded them to.
So, simply by meditating, it doesn't seem like we would be able to send demons upon someone and curse them.
It's quite ironic that people would usually pray to God to curse their enemies before battles.
Tells you a lot about the similarities between Satanists and Christians.
So, to summarize, I would say no.
You can't control demons and send them upon your enemies in a form of spiritual war.

Ghost_Recon wrote I think you are heavily misguided if you would even consider the reality of such ancient garbage. You are subject to the "spiritual warfare" only if you believe in it because your mind will draw the invisible lines together to justify the "unknown" possibility because it is impossible for the human brain to just have no answer for something with "unknown" causes. "Unknown" being of course what your mind cannot make sense of so it has to make such ridiculous answers to feel gratified. Thus, spirituality and spirits were invented. The human brain is subject to it's own stupidity, sadly. But, if you can realize all that stuff above^ then you will have a better understanding of why the idea of "spiritual" even exists. Hope I helped!
It's close minded people like you that will never see the full picture of things. I'm spiritual myself and though it's not a religion, science actually back up a *Lot* not all, of the things spirituality stands for. Take a look at Albert Einstein, when he first came about and starts writing his theory of relativity, most mainstream scientists discredited his work saying it's impossible and he was crazy...... Today his theory's are still guiding the smartest people in the world ( In quantum psychics ). Just because you can't intellectually understand something doesn't mean you should discredit it, otherwise where will the geniuses be, the new Einstein. If you told a 14th century person the earth was round he would laugh in your face, yet now we laugh in people's faces if they say it was flat. So after all this and you still discredit something, and by your wording you don't have a clue what actually you are discrediting. I can clearly see you will not contribute to the human existence. Good night.

While I agree that an open mind really is needed to contemplate things like spirits and souls, and while I try to be objective about these things in my posts, you can't really point to past scientists as a basis for believing in something like this.
I could just as easily say that because people have believed in spirits for thousands of years, they will eventually be disproven.
Everything moves on and scientific understanding always increases and theories either get proven or disproven, so, like scientists disproved the flat Earth theory, they could eventually disprove the existence of Spirits.
The fact that I base my disbelief in spirits on is simply that after around 30,000 years of people worshipping spirits, praying to them, giving them offerings, and trying to understand them, there is still not one shred of physical evidence to suggest that they exist.
If that makes me closed minded then so be it.
I'm open to the idea of them and sure they could scientifically exist and we just don't understand them yet, but until that day I'm going to say they don't exist.
It makes it a lot easier to sort things into the known and unknown than exists, might exist and doesn't exist, because at the end of the day, anything could exist.
Calling someone closed minded because they don't believe in Spirits is like calling someone closed minded because they don't believe in Santa, Leprechauns or Fairies.

Spirituality and Spirits were invented, BY?
The human brain is subject to it's own stupidity, sadly. really? Don't think we would be here today if that was true. Maybe humanity made its mistakes and got misguided but we're not stupid.
You are a disgrace to the English language. And yes thinking that spirituality is in context with mind control is very much so garbage. Spirituality and spirits were invented by man. If not, how would we know? After all the Holy Bible was written by man. I never called "humanity" stupid. Although, humanity is a false claim. Humanity implies that everyone loves one and another and cares for each other, that couldn't be further from the truth! So, I would stress that you really think about what I wrote here and their ^. If you really do, you will see the reasoning within my responses and may even agree. But, I doubt that. You have been trapped by the belief in what you cannot see, so how could you possibly see something right in front of you?
Clearly, I hit a nerve by posting this topic.
You Sir are a Grammar Nazi, Product of the system. "You are a disgrace to the English language" Bahahaha, I will make it simple for you.. off!
And this topic has gone way off topic but its nice to know what people think.

A theory implies widely excepted proof, their is no proof behind the spiritual. I do have a open, otherwise I wouldn't have to taken so much time to do research on why the human brain believes things that are irrational or don't make sense. I am agnostic and therefor would except the proof of spirits. Don't think I am closed-minded simply because I do not believe in the Spiritual. I think you need to realize that almost all strong Christians who actually follow the teachings of Christ and of God not the fashion of Crosses flashed in Rap "music" will never except Science no matter how much proof is presented. Now that is close-minded.

Depressing to see that some many people believe non-sense. The Illuminati, if real, is NOT satanic and neither are Free Masons. Satanist do not worship Satan. Free Masons have to be apart of Monotheistic religions which Satanism is NOT. Please, do research. Read what is actually Satanic here at the real: thetechgame.org. Second, you cannot believe in UFOS and Aliens if you believe in Spirits and Demons. And if you do then you are not Christian. Shape shifters... come on dude... The media is brainwashing YOU to focus on false things. They fill your mind with the false symbolism and false meanings to distract from what is true. You know, theirs a lot more information than just YouTube. I suggest you use that information, learn, and grow from believing in false principles because they are only detrimental to your advancement as a human being.
