If I had a million dollars, I would act normal, and whenever I want something, I might get it. If you think you can get everything you want, and you do get everything you want. Chances are you will be become depressed because your getting what you want. Most people who get rich don't know how to spend money, and they just waste it on overpriced things, and eventually they will kill themselves. I would use it wisely.

Honestly, I would keep whatever I need for college, some for my family, and give the rest away to charities and environmental organizations as soon as I could. I've heard too many lottery failure stories, where the winner has no idea what to do, succumbs to a life of excess and- boom- bankrupt in a matter of years. Or the people they know start bugging them for money and they destroy all their relationships and live lavish hermit lives until they die.

BUT if I worked for the money, and earned it with my own hands, I would probably put it in the bank and watch it grow. c:

Medicalii wrote I would put $975,000 away in the bank and use $25,000 to buy the stupid **** that I see in the magazines on airplanes. The interest from the $975,000 would be aprox. $50,000 per year so thats fine with me.

I like the way you think, this is exactly what I would do. After I earn more than I originally had I would give to family, some to charity, and the rest for me to keep making interest off of.

I would save $700,000 in the bank. I would then spend the rest on these items.

1. 2014 Ford F150 Platinum

Always into trucks and this one kicks ass. Price is around $50,000

2. 2014 Ford Shelby GT500

Love this car. Around $60,000 with some upgrades

3. Expensive shoes, clothing, and donate around $10,000 to charity.
