I was wondering if this laptop is worth the money, it's an Alienware M15x, it's had an upgrade from it's normal spec.

It's going to cost me 530 ($850)

Check out the screenshots below for the Direct X diagnostics.

I just want to know if it's worth the money or not.

It really depends on what you need it for. What will you use it for?

Why does it depend on what I need it for exactly? But anyway, it will be for gaming when I go over other people's houses/travelling.

The model is about 2 years old from what I can see but I just want to know if the technical specs are worth the money.

Thanks.

Personally i would stay away from Alienware like i stay away from diseases. But if you specifically need portability than sure go for it. Just keep in mind you could build a PC that will max every game for 530GBP.

It's gonna weigh about 10 pounds and be around 4 inches thick. If that doesn't turn you off from buying it, then it's a decent buy for the specs. Alienware gets a lot more hate than it deserves for its laptop line. If you can afford something like this, then buy it. Try to see if you can get the seller to lower the price by about 50, as it looks like he has some wiggle room.

I have a beast of a PC already bud, I'm just clueless with laptops. I want this for playing games outta the house basically. What is the deal with people hating on Alienware anyway?

I normally stay away from gaming laptops, but 530 for that is a pretty good deal. It looks like that 670MX is an aftermarket upgrade. I'd just test temperatures before I bought it to make sure that it runs stable.

I didn't bother getting it, I decided I'm gonna get a brand new MSI GE70 instead. From doing research the 670MX has been known to have some issues with the Alienware laptop.

Thanks for feedback/help anyway.
