No you still earn more by doing criminal records, but if you can't be bothered just do the RP glitch.

It is the best glitch to date.
Get a Lazer
Blow cops up until a Five Star level is achieved.
Do the glitch like regular
You get +500 RP Every 2 seconds.
Do the math, that's 2500 every ten seconds
And a whopping 25,000 every minute. Criminal records gives you 6000 every minute
PS, it's 1,500,000 an hour, which can get you from 1-80
Get a Lazer
