Hey guys how's it going? In the video above I explain how to construct a custom image to become your crew emblem in Social Club to be viewed as your Crew Custom Emblem in Gta Online. This explains how to do it for Mac users, but Pc users may follow along as well, just make sure to dismiss all the mac references. Stay around to the end and I announce something I will be making for the community for free. Make sure to read the description for important information. TTG Users may contact me via pm or just shoot me a comment.

NOTE: If you are a Pc user, you DO NOT have to open the downloaded SVG File in Notepad. However, you can just right click and open it with the browser and follow as I do in the video

NOTE: Make sure the image you are using is 512 by 512!!

Need a image resized to 512x512? [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to post here or comment on my video!

Thanks!

EDIT: Problems pasting the picture in Social Club Emblem Editor when you edit HTML?
Step 1: Is this highlighting when you "Inspect Element?" [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Step 2: Thats wrong you want this highlighted: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Step 3: Once you notice that you have the right highlighted section, EDIT THE HTML ON THE CORRECT HIGHLIGHTED PART TO GET THE PICTURE TO SHOW!!
Step 4: After you edit the HTML just follow the video where to paste the HTML code

EDIT: Transparent Background Video is up and below there is also a (Transparent Background Text Tutorial)

EDIT: I will be making vectorized Images now, send me a comment or post or pm and I'll get to it!

EDIT: Below is a Text Tutorial for Pc Users. Let me know if you still encounter problems.

This Text Tutorial starts when you have a Downloaded SVG File
Step 1: Once you have the Downloaded SVG File open the file in a browser. (Right Click > Open With > Select your preferred Browser.
Step 2: Depending on the browser right click and either "View Source" or "Inspect The Element." After you click it, a file with the codes should open up.
Step 3: Starting from the first "<path" you see (It should be labeled Number 4) Copy it all the way down. Once at the bottom DO NOT highlight the "</svg>" Part.
Step 4: Go to Social Club. Then "Inspect The Element" of the background where the Emblem will be placed.
Step 5: Once the Element is Inspected it willl highlight a certain part. (Watch Video to see how it looks). Once you notice the highlighted part, Right Click then Click "Edit HTML"
Step 6: Once you Clicked "Edit HTML" you want to paste what you copied from the SVG File between
"></rect>(PASTE HERE)</svg>" (This part should be found at the ending and if you need visual help, watch the video)
Step 7: Once you see your picture in the Emblem Creator, exit then save.

How to get a transparent background - Text Tutorial Works for Mac and PC!
Step 1: Upload your image that has a transparent background (Obviously it has to have a transparent background) normally, just like in the video.
Step 2: Then click the box that gets the background color tab opened. (Box location: Click the box next to "Back ground color" [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Then this should come up: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Choose the box with the red slash going through it. (That selects transparent background)
Step 4: Note: You'll notice that a white background got put instead of the transparent. Right click the white background and "Inspect Element."
Step 5: Once you Inspect the Element, delete what it highlighted. MAKE SURE YOU RIGHT CLICK THE WHITE BACKGROUND OR YOU'LL DELETE SOMETHING ELSE!
Step 6: Once you delete it, it should add the transparency. Now just save it and enjoy.

Having problems saving?
Step 1: Go to the crew that you want the picture uploaded
Step 2: At the bottom where the emblem gallery is, click the plus sign to create a emblem
Step 3: Paste the HTML so the picture shows up then save it (It should save in a matter of seconds)
Step 4: Find the picture in "My emblems" and set the emblem to your crew

Just to clarify, is the save going on constantly and taking a very long time and never uploads? If so follow these simple steps, as the same problem occurred to me as well.

1. Go to the crew that you want the picture uploaded
2. At the bottom where the emblem gallery is, click the plus sign to create a emblem
3. Paste the html so the picture shows up then save it (It should save in a matter of seconds)
4. Find the picture in "My emblems" and set the emblem to your crew

If your still acquiring problems, just post here again or directly pm me.

I can reply here. The answer to your question is no, you can not save a SVG File in photoshop. You will have to save it the same way I expressed it in the video.

Edit: I replied to your comment on youtube as well.
