I've been looking at it and it seems pretty good, I looked at the cost to individually get all of the parts and found out that for some reason it's more expensive???
Anyway the basic specs are...
i7 4770
1.5Gb NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 < Yes 760!
1tb hard drive
8gb ram
My aims for this would be to...
Process videos easily
Play BF3/4 on medium or more
Play arma2/3 on high or more
General processing to be quick
Play most games on ultra and even battlefield if possible.
Can you guys just let me know if this PC is worth lasting a few years whilst still being able to perform these tasks.

I seriously doubt the X51 would cost less than [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
I'm assuming you're in the US. If you're not I can throw you a build using whichever currency you're using.
You know what the funny thing is? The build I linked is actually better. Better quality components and a better GPU (more VRAM).
Buying an Alienware desktop is throwing money away. If you want the right to say "HEY GUISE I GOT AN ALIENWARE!!!" then go right ahead and buy one. I doubt many people will think Alienwares are good in the PC community anyway.
The parts you were looking at individually must've been the most expensive parts you could find.
Don't waste your money.

It may add up to around 700GBP altogether due to shipping costs ect. but it'll be a lot more worth it, more than an Alienware anyway,
Thanks very much for this
And do the parts each come with the screws they need as I know there are a lot of different ones involved in putting everything together?

Gigahertz wrote I seriously doubt the X51 would cost less than [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]I see you're recommending the standard heatsink for them ,WHY!? it's an i7 it's going to need a good heat sink.As for the mother board that could be a lot better intel grade. Then I'd recommend a SSD for the operating system and a 1TB hdd for backup memory.

Fun fact #1: Stock heatsinks are absolutely fine for the CPU! Since it's a locked, you won't be overclocking! So guess what? No need for an aftermarket heatsink! Yay!
Fun fact #2: Since the CPU is locked, a B85 Motherboard will be absolutely fine. MSI makes great quality motherboards.
Fun fact #3: You're an idiot.
