Ok I know this sounds shocking to ALOT of people because if your not a senior or you just dont care about your future this is going to sound weird, but I actually REALLY enjoy school and before anyone says anything I know there are going to be typos and what not in this rant because frankly I dont care, its the internet get over yourself you cry babies.

My school, I go to the best school in my area it has been an A school since forever but all of a sudden we dropped to a B school this past year, im a senior this year so in other words this is my first year experiencing a school that is under a B making my school a B school. My school is still the best in all of central Florida and im not saying that because of my spirit im saying it because well, its true. I honestly cant tell you how much pointless bullshit they teach us in this magnificent A-B school of ours because to be honest they dont teach us really anything. The teachers really dont give two shits what goes on, there are so many opinion based teachers and there is WAAAAAY to much pressure and sports influence in my opinion. Every teacher is like in love with football or baseball which is fine but when it gets in the way of me trying to take advantage of "free" education than it becomes annoying. Our school has a pep rally every home game and id say 70% of the away games for football. Why do we have to be forced to go to these pep rallies were all they do is chant and scream for some stupid sport? Id much rather stay inside and do work than be outside in the stadium sweating my nut sack off . My school bought a NEW turf field for the stadium last year...a freaking turf field for high school football? As far as I know there are only a handful of high-schools that have turf fields. We buy a new field but we cant afford new textbooks? This is madness in my opinion. I can continue on for a while but I do not wanna make it to long because I want atleast one person to read this.

I corrected as much as I can.

OT: A lot of highschools want to invest a lot of money into their sports programs because a lot of people are looking for that aspect of things. They want their child to try and get a scholarship in sports.

It also promotes school spirit to have a good athletics program that the whole school can attend if they feel they want to.

Schools in England are the complete opposite and rarely focus on Sports.

not sure if I should thank the corrections but thank you, and I understand that there are talented people in high school through sports but when OTHERS who ARENT are forced to be then it becomes a little ridiculous. Plus whats the ratio of people who get scholarships to college that actually end up making to the NFL?

I'm currently a senior as well. But ever since I started attending, I found myself realizing that the whole school system is flawed. Not only about sports but the whole scheme.

It's good to have sports, get the kids to be active and socialize while having that competitive urge. But I completely agree with the sports being, what seems to be the primary reason of attending school. Sure, you attend the necessary core classes, but what you come to notice is the talk about sports is constant throughout administration and students. I like sports, especially football, and I do attend games at my school. But the thing that angers me the most, is when money spent on sports severely outweighs money spent on education. For example, some books in my school have probably been around longer than I have. I'm pretty sure in 18 years, things have changed in terms of greater technology, or more discoveries depending on what subject it is. But yet, the football field can spend a bundle of money to put up new field goal posts, and have brand new under armour sponsored attire for all sport players.

All in all, i'm out of here in less than a year, what they do after is not my concern. So stay strong man, you got one more year!

I'm from Michigan, and I play varsity football for the winningist division 1 high school in the state, and I can tell you that we have turf as do 90% of all the other high schools. It's more common not to have turf. Now on your school buying a turf field instead of books and stuff, schools are given grants to spend on certain things. They can't just spend the money on whatever they want. The money was raised and given to the school specifically to buy the turf field and nothing else. That's just the way it works

I guess that is true, one more year and I do not have to deal with. Ill budge through and hope that the school system can make a turn around for the next generation of kids. Sports are good yes, and I do attend some games with friends and stuff. One more year man.

Absolutely just hold on. Well, you won't be completely finished with the school after you graduate. You still got to pay taxes to them (granted it's a local school).

Ok look, Im not ranting on sports im ranting on the fact the school pushes sports so heavily on the entire school when there are plenty of people down here in florida who really dont care. Do you know what sports Florida has? What good team for anything do we have here? Miami Marlins yeah ok Tampa Bay? IM NOT RANTING ABOUT SPORTS IM SIMPLY saying that I do not see why they force it upon the entire school.

You added 2 letters and 3 apostrophes, wow, we'd never have been able to understand what he was saying without you bro.
