Its really annoying when you get on an old game which is really good like Call of Duty: World at war and everyone is flying about and have god mode on it really gets on my nerves so im glad that there is a ban wave going on right now because say i really enjoy mw2 and i want to get to 10th which i did legit and my mate who was 6th prestige level 56 when i next play with him he is 10th 70 and that really annoys me and it is alot more fun when you set out to acheive a certain level or attatchment on the game.

Completely depends on how they are used, i personally do a lot of offline modding, not a big fan of running around in a public game with godmod on ect, ruins the game for all the other people in the lobby just so one person can have a little laugh.

The only thing i have done with modding is call of duty: world at war Zombies but still i have done that like once or twice and one of them was when i was searching for a public match and someone had mods and they where host but in all honestly think about it you and your friend want to buy the most expensive house on GTA V and you and him dont have any money think how it feels when he does a money glitch and has Millions of dollars in his bank and you only have about 90k you would be annoyed. Its exactly the same with The leveling system on Call of duty you try do it legit they just skip to the last prestige and unlock all in about 10 minutes and then that friend you played call of duty with wont play it anymore because he has everything and max level!.

It all really depends on the game. I love to mod GTA 4 on my PC, but modding has ruined consoles, especially all the old cods, I mean I cannot play one COD 4 game without being in a game with modders, or having someone de-rank me.

I have mixed opinions on modding. I believe it can be almost benefitical for the gaming community if it is not ripping off the game developers and is merely adding more playability to a game. If it is loosing the game developers money or is causing inequality in a game then I think it is bad.
In terms of console modding, I think it is bad as it can cause developers to have leaked games and free products from the use of modded consoles or gamertags.

Mixed feelings. Sure I love modding games, but I only enjoy mods which affect single player/campaign only, or graphic mods. Nothing that ruins games for others by giving an unfair advantage to certain players online though.

I like to mod offline but online its a waste of money and a waste of time imo
