Couldn't agree more with this! Besides, Search and Destroy was the sole reason I was getting a PS4 and this game at the release, in the first place.

black ops 2 is the first cod game that got me sort of interested in comp cod, HP was such an intense game mode at times, i loved watching it, the decision to remove HQ is annoying, it was a fun game mode, no idea why.... i mean I.W posted a vine on their twitter of something to do with eSports on ghosts, check it out if you haven't, they may be supporting the scene soon, i just hope they introduce something like league play, that was my fav part of blops 2, pubs on blops 2 was aids

How in the hell can you possibly say that it has killed competitive cod or just regular cod before the game comes out?

IW has stated they have work to do with patches coming up. And even after the game is out, how will we know about competitive until a competition even happens.

I give you that IW is way behind in catering private matches to customized rule sets, but still I dont see how any of you can possibly call a game dead before the release is even here.

If you looked at IW's latest vine, they obviously took competitive into play. Ignorant poster, game isn't even out either.

infinity ward hasn't supported competitive call of duty in any of their games what makes you think they will start now ? plus most of the game modes if not all of the game modes that are played in comp have been removed, hardpoint was the saving grace of competitive cod and they remove it , they have nothing to host online tournaments , they have no league play honestly im surprised it's on the mlg calender this year at all

You do realise that the game everyone plays early is the FULL game? Just because it's released a few days early doesn't mean that it is somehow incomplete.

Sure, maybe in the future they will release a playlist update, but I can't see it happening as soon as the game comes out, otherwise they would've just included it in the game itself.

I think the knee sliding is cheesy more old fashion cod player ;) but the competitive edge wont go there will be updates and I think it will be fine but that's just me
