Lately, the government and ISPs seem to be locking down on trying to fight against the use of torrenting files illegally. Mainly 'File Sharers' are being targeted.
So I have a few questions...
1 - Has anyones internet actually been slowed by their ISP for downloading torrents?
2 - Anyone recieved any letters regarding torrent downloads?
3 - Is there a 'safer' way to torrent to avoid the ISPs knowing?

I know that hides your IP while browsing the torrent sites, but wont help at all when downloading.
