i've been playing it a bit already and im just curious as to whether they are going to reset on the launch day because if they are then im not going to play again until release

No. A lot of people have legitimate copies of the game right now. They are not going to reset.

They said this with Mw2 and every Cod since but never have reset you for playing early.
I think they should but never do.
