My old desktop fell off my table and wont start up anymore i had a usb 1tb hardrive plugged in will it still have my files?

Also if anyone knows a prebuilt pc that can play battlefield 4 on highest settings please post below price isn't really an issue just as long as I'm getting my moneys worth the max im spending is $3000 if you can find one ill be very grateful
it also needs to last at least 1 year of being on pretty much 24/7 with a lot things going on while I'm away.

Alright ive changed my mind since everybody is saying to build one. if anyone can post one i can get someone to put together for me by paying them a bit extra that works for me

If more information is needed just ask ill try my best to help
heres a cat

Don't buy that PC!

Build one, you will save so much money, just post a build request form and someone will select the parts for you.

i'm not that computer savvy, so as for the hard drive, i'm not sure, if it wasn't damaged it should be fine.

I'd go with this, It's got 16GB of RAM, FX-6300 and a HD7950( & Windows 8)

If you just build one you will save more money which means you can get a computer for spending the same amount of money.

This makes no sense... Let me reiterate for you.

If you build one yourself, you will get a better PC for less money.

Right so you have a 3k budget. Lets get to work
Guess what, you won't have to spend anywhere near as much as 3k for a great PC
Here is my attempt
