This glitch has to do with your internet connection . you could try to create some lag . The thing about this glitch is that its mostly luck but are you sure your in a public match when you do this glitch? And you also cant br host

How would i go about creating lag?
I am sure i am in a public match and i am sure im not the host.

If you have a modem with a standby button you could use that. Thats the only way i could think of. Some people have this method working for them so you might just have to keep trying . Try opening your internet browser on your phone in the game then pressing start and going to the game store then leaving gta online to get onto your single player character and then continue the glitch it might work

Just tried it out. sorry for the long response. It worked!! What i did was did everything like normal and when it went into the downloading menu i went back to the online and made sure i was still trevor. Then went to the xbox store and backed out and then it started letting me do it.
