Turtle Beach is a company that makes high quality surround sound headphones for use with gaming systems. Check out their website at [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
There's another company (which I favor more) which makes similar products under the name of Tritton Technologies. Their website is [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

They're honestly worth it. With the surround sound, you can hear exactly where your enemies are coming from. If you have the money, get the AX 720s.
However, and this is IMPORTANT, in order to use these with your Xbox/PS3 you need a set of A/V cables with an Optical Out port. If you have the composite/component dual cable (regular and HDTV cables in one cable with a switch on it) it has an Optical Out.

I have Turtle Beach X1's they work just fine for me and i use them while i play rock band and guitar hero
I think turtles are better to use when playing CoD5 because even if they have dead silence you can hear them but on Modern Warfare 2 if they have ninja pro you can't hear anything......Its like nothing is there
