so i have a dell OptiPlex gx520
specs:
ram:4gb
processor:intel Pentium 4 3.0ghz
windows 7 ultimate 64bit
harddrive 500gb

this being an older pc it has 2 pci slots but no pci express so anyone know what video card i could buy off amazon that fits in the pci slot and will play games like call of duty gta or battlefield?
budget $100

It's not possible. You'd bottleneck that Pentium 4 with a 9800GT even if you did have a PCIe x16 lane on your motherboard. The only GTA you can even consider running would be GTA 1&2.

It's time for a new system...

It would probably work out cheaper (and better) in the long run to just buy a new mb/cpu/ram bundle then get a new pci-e card.

Save up. Your best bet really would be one of the next gen consoles...

Can't believe they charge $70 for that motherboard. No it will not work.
