I remember there being a glitch witch allowed you to own two properties, but I'm not sure if it was patched in the most recent update.

You were not meant to have multiple properties though. If you own one and try to purchase another, it will warn you that you are replacing your old property and will receive half of the money spent on the property.

You only receive half of the previous property and lose the previous property.
