I just don't understand why whenever someone points out something bad about Ghosts everyone rushes to tell them they are wrong.
Here are a few examples:
Spawns are bad.= "Infinity Ward will patch it, spawns are always weird at launch."
You die too quick.= "That's how it is in real life, it focuses on reaction time and gun skill."
The graphics are arguably worse than BO2.= "Current Gen can't keep 60FPS so they can't improve graphics"
Maps are garbage.= "They are bigger because real war would be a bigger area."
Overall, the game has a good amount of flaws, but so does every game at launch. Which is why it makes me angry that the same people that are defending Ghosts are the people that played GTA Online or the BF4 beta and completely bashed them almost immediately.
I am not a fan of the game right now but I'm not trying to tell people that they are bad because they don't like the game mechanics. Why can't people just admit "Hey maybe that part of the game isn't the best possible decision the dev could have taken".
Your thoughts?

You said it yourself, every game is flawed on launch. You don't know if EVERYONE bashed other games. You're drawing that conclusion with no basis. People are defending the game because of what you said. These problems are bound to be fixed. I can safely say that 35% of the problems have existed in the past in CoD and were resolved within the first 2 weeks. Bad spawns? MW3, BO1, and BO2. Do they still exist? Nope. Fast death/killing? MW3. Gun damage is always fixed. Bad graphics? It's a visual opinion, but the graphical values are greater than any past CoD. Maps garbage?
The past 3 CoDs had a lot of maps which weren't appealing to most people, but it's called adjusting to your environment. Battlefield has 2x, if not 3x, the size.

I hate using the term "fanboys" but yes, the people that make up excuses for the franchise they love are fanboys. I'm not saying that it's bad to be one, but when someone refuses to take an objective approach and criticize the game in a constructive way. I think I would be able to stretch and say that this is why IW and Treyarch have been able to get away with keeping the game stale while still selling more and more copies. Although, I feel that this is the last time we will see a CoD with no innovation. Treyarch had a very impressive outing with BO2 which is the first time that I actually enjoyed Call of Duty in a long time. And it seemed that that was the pinnacle of CoD success.
Although, as long as Activision sees money rolling in, they will hold a franchise's head under the water until it drowns. Much like what they did with Guitar Hero. So to any of the fanboys still clutching onto their love child, start to criticize it or else it will die.

Exactly what I am trying to convey. Most longtime fans of Call of Duty are not listening to criticism and just jumping to ill-conceived conclusions to explain the reason why someone thinks it is a flaw, when to them, it isn't a flaw.
And to (Parisfx) I realize a lot of the things that I dislike the game for could get better overtime, but I enjoyed the launch of all the other CoDs a whole lot more than this one. In fact, I played BO2 for almost 18 hours straight at the midnight launch because I enjoyed it (Also, I was no-lifing because at the time I didn't have much time off with school and work)
I don't even want to play the game right now.

**** realism. We want a good FPS game not a dumb ass realistic war scene. The change was not good.
