When the next-gen consoles come out next month, the expected amount of players on a server will be bumped up to around 32-64. With that being said, why make such small maps as on previous CODs when it'll be like playing Ground War on Rust or Shipment. I think people would be more frustrated when next-gen consoles come out and they play Ghosts and can't stay alive for 30 seconds because the maps are so small. So now that I've probably cleared this up, can we ALL be glad these maps are somewhat large and not so small or whatever. Even if you aren't getting next-gen right away, that's how it's going to work if this game is compatible with current and next-gen consoles.

I'm flabbergasted by what I just read. The current gen consoles are limited to 1-12 players MAX, just look at the online playlist on the current gen consoles; I have yet to see Ground War in there. Next-Gen consoles will be 1-18(which is like other call of duty titles in the past), and therefore will support playlists with larger player counts like Ground War. I don't know where you got the information you've presented, but I hope this clears things up for you.

Ps: There's no way IW would try and squeeze 32-64 players on some of those maps. That would be insanity.

Maybe 1-32 players but no way would there be 32-64 :L
