Well you have some iffy parts. Why get an i7 when you'll be gaming and simply won't need it? Just get an i5 4670k. The Xonar sound card is unnecessary unless you need it for a sound system that will utilize it for it's intended purpose. On board audio will suffice with speakers and headphones. It's just extra money spent on nothing. If you want a full tower case to somewhat dwarf your hardware, so be it. Usually with an i5 (assuming you take my suggestion) paired with a high end GPU such as a 7970 should be ran on a 650w PSU, but if you can get away with it then that unit should suffice.

I see several flaws:

i7 is not needed for gaming, a 4670(k) will be fine
Hyper 212 EVO cooling a Haswell chip isn't gonna go down too well
No SSD in a near 1k GBP build? Really?
Full tower case is definitely not needed
550w is enough but for a system of this calibre I'd go with at least a 650
Sound card is not needed.

I thought you were going on about how the i7 would benefit his render speeds, but you're claiming that the CPU has an effect on how fast a video will upload? Unless I'm a total moron (PLEASE let me know if I am), I think uploading videos is 99% influenced by your network connection and isn't hardware related..

Actually no. It won't touch his upload speeds - that's based on his net speed.
My points on here:

- Locked CPU, Z87 motherboard
- Onboard sound -> That sound card would see little to no difference
- No need for wireless card when there is onboard ethernet
- Could save a bit on the RAM.

- Can save a bit on the HDD
- No SSD

- No need for a Full Tower.
