I have 1 stick of Crucial Balistix Sport 4gb ram. It's meant to be clocked at 1600mhz. But when I check my ram speed using Speccy it's showing 800mhz speed ? Is that because it's 1 stick or is my bios clocking it wrong ? My cpu can support higher speeds so it's not that! +rep for someone who can help :-)

100kevin100 wroteThat is what the program shows by default... For instance, I have 4 sticks installed and the program still states 800. Shows how much you know. A glance at the program would tell you that.VEVO wrote That's normal. It is running in 'dual channel' 800 times 2 is 1600.
