I want to connect my xbox 360 through Ethernet, as I have a big house and wifi extenders don't give me the performance i would like. But I have a problem, I have hookups for Ethernet in my room and my game room, but both are used by direct tv boxes, also my xbox is on the opposite side of my house and on a different story.

Is there any way i can get a wired connection upstairs and across my house? Are there companies that would install a jack and wire the connection through the attic?

I really appreciate any help that can be given.

I am guessing that there are companies that would do that.

However I am thinking that it would be a lot cheaper to buy a longer cable.

Although it may be more of an inconvenience it may save you a lot of money.

eBay will have Ethernet cables of all sizes, for cheap too!

The company that provides your internet should be able to install it. Just know it'll be a little pricy.

It's probably a good 50-75 feet or more away and would have to go up my stairs, not an option it would have to go through my attic somehow. If anyone could provide a specific company that would be great.
