I believe it's worth it. Everyone is going to have their own feel for the game of course though. I believed the campaign had a pretty good story line for sure. That is one reason to purchase it. The multiplayer is brand new has a lot of different things. The maps are big and take some getting used to for certain. I still seem to like it though like every other CoD. As far as extinction I haven't got far enough to really tell yet. It was decent from what I played so far.
