The difference between Xenon and Jasper is a big difference.

Xenon console do not have HDMI and Jaspers do.

Xenons were the first Xbox 360 motherboards to be developed and are very prone to RROD.

Jaspers came out around 2009, and are less prone to RROD, they are the most reliable PHAT consoles you can probably buy.

Jasper is the best fat to buy as it is very hard to get a rrod and most reliable fat it has hdmi and just a better console

Xenon is the first board to be sold and is the worst for cooling issues so they have a lot of problems with overheating which can effect the CPU and gpu which means you would probably need to get it reflowed alot which is kind of a never ending battle.

The console to get would be a Jasper for sure if you want a fat

Hope this helps

Like I said again, don't buy a Jtag/RGH if you don't know the simplest things about .e.g Nands.

You need to research Jtags/RGH's because there complicated, in ways.

If your starting off go for a Xenon, you could probably pick a brand new one up for about 60-70 pounds.

Don't spend all of your money on the Jtag/RGH itself because you will need money for KVs and Online time. You might even want to customize your Jtag/RGH and get a different case for it, LEDs ect.

The major difference between a Jtag and a RGH is that Jtags can only have a single Nand, RGH's can have 1-4 Nands which allows you to be ore creative and do more using your RGH.

For $150 or 150, you could probably buy a slim rgh for that price, easily.

To buy a xenon or jasper rgh/jtag for that price IMO is very steep.

If it has RJTAG installed, then maybe worth it, considering how fast it can boot and what accessories or extras are included with it.

I would shop around mate, and keep your options open as you could probably get a better deal for 150.

I know someone who just sold a jasper rgh that boots within 1-2 cycles 90% of the time for 80, so that shows you how much they are roughly worth. That also included the power supply with it as well.

I agree with Waving,

I would seriously have a good think about what you want to do with it first.

Considering RGH can have multiple nands, that means you could buy a triple nand device like a trident and have retail on nand1 rgh freeboot image on nand2 and XDK development kernel on nand3.

With the XDK kernel you can make game trainers and create your own apps for xbox 360 to test out and stuff.

I have an RGH Trinity console with internal memory mod, 2 Terabyte HDD in place of the DVD drive, as the DVD drive is not really needed anymore, because you can install anything via USB. Also have a custom whisper fan with blue LED's.
