If your friends are getting it then yes, as you cannot Speak/Play with people on the 360 when you have the X1

Well look up the specs and the specs for the PS4 and decide which you would rather have. I chose to go with PS4 even though I have been a die hard Xbox fan for the last several years and this was a difficult decision. Good luck!

It depends how much you play to be honest. I don't play much so I'm not going to bother, you're best off staying on the same console as your friends as you can't talk to friends over different consoles.

Well my same reason is the same as KronikShadow's,

I have had all Xbox and Xbox 360 consoles that were released.

However, I for one will be deciding on buying PS4 this generation.

1. You have to buy the XBONE with the kinect, you don't have the option of not buying it separate.

2. XBONE upscales most of it's games to 1080p.

3. PS4 DEV's mention PS4 supports 1080p as standard for gaming.

4. It's all down to the DEV's who make the game, and if they choose to make it run at 1080p 60fps, for either console I suppose.

5. I just like the features the PS4 has over XBONE, such as live streaming game footage etc. XBONE has not really brought anything new to next gen apart from newer hardware IMO.

6. Microsoft are greedy IMO, and will be inventing plenty more money making schemes for the XBONE.

7. PS4 can allow you to watch Netflix and everything else except game online with a standard PSN account.

However XBONE will require you to have a GOLD subscription, before allowing you access to Netflix and other standard stuff.

Sony has my money any day, however I am not purchasing a PS4 until they come down in price sometime next year and I can see if the system runs into any issues after launch, before I decide to buy.

I'd honestly hold out until your friends buy one, even if they decide to grab the PS4, I'd get the PS4.

Also the only way to communicate to the Xbox One on the 360 is via text message.
